The North Taranaki Hunt CWb meet this afternoon at Vice-President hartley's admiiunly situated farm at £Mfe - perton. The hunts haveliW reputation to uphold, and it is aeeS^r;' less to say that to-day's .arill not lacking for the want of {oMhouglht vr?:£ care. A large extent of cowßy has beejjfrl secured to hunt over, arnr'aa 'hares plentiful and hounds in the pink of- con- . dition, horses and huntsmen alike wffl be kept busy. Mr, Mrs and the Misses Whcatley, all being very keen" sports, should be gratified to-day at tho Interest taken in hunting, quite a number having signified their intention of going out from town, as well as a grew number of country people.
