LABOR UNIONS ATTACKED.
THEIR OWN ENDS PARAMOUNT. By Cable—Press Association-Copyright New York, June 15. Mr. Taft, in an address at Harvard University, attacked the trade unions for their efforts to exempt themselves from the operations of the Sherman Anti-Trust Law, also their supporting the Colorado strikers in their excesscß. Mr. Taft declared that the unions were endeavoring to weaken .the law. in order to pur:iue their own ends, by violence if necessary. Certain trade unions maintained an actual rebellion against the State authority.
