The church choir at Gebesce is striking because the municipal council is discontinuing the ancient custom of granting the choir four hundred litres of beer and four pieces of land annually. The council rtgranted the beer but refused the land. The strike continues. THE KAISER IN AUSTRIA. Vienna, June 15. The Kaiser, when visiting Turmitz, had an interview with Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Este (the heir presumptive), and discussed the Mediterranean and Adriatic questions.
