JOHNSON VILLI--. There was a good supply of both cattle and sheep, every pen offered being of prime quality. The offering of beef especially was extra prime and weighty. Then* was a good demand, and all lots sold well at ruling rates. ADDINGTON. A feature of the yarding of the stock at AiMing-ton wa.s the very heavy entry of fat sheep, which was considerably in excess of that at any previous sale this season. The store - sheep market was brighter, lambs selling better. Fat lambs were dearer than at any sale this season, and fat sheep sold at an advance. The fat cattle" sale was a little brighter. Fat pigs were unchanged. Store pigs.—Best stores, 32s to 3Ss; medium stores. 22s to 30s; small stores, 10s to 21s; weaners. 5s for very small sorts to 12s for the best: sows in pig, 80s to 100s.

BUUNSIDE. At Biirnside. 2fio head fat cattle were yarded. This number proved rather more than the requirements of the trade, The sale opened with the slight' decline, but later on values had to be accepted, especially for cows and heifers. Best bullocks, £l2 to £l3; medium, £lO 10s to £l2; small and inferior. £8 to £9 His; best heifers, to £8 10s; medium. £7 5s to £9; light and inferior, £5 to £0 10*. Freezing buyers were operating freely for suitable wethers, and best quality ewes were difficult to sell, and realised much the same values as last sale. Lambs—2soo penned, including some of very fine quality. Best, 22s to 23s 3d; good. Uls to 21s: medium, 17s to 18s; light, 14s fid to 15s, Pigs.—The demand for slack pigs was rather slack, and "prices were lower by 2s per head. Stores were in over-supply and prices declined 4b to 5a per head. A considerable number were turned out unsold.
