In one tha plaintiff claimed the release of a mortgage for £3OO, which, he said, he tad paid to Shaw as agent for the leaden, tat the latter had never received it. The other was ft very complicated eroasdeal in houses negotiated by Shaw and cut short by lis bankruptcy, the plain- : tiff claiming for specific performance. Eight lawyers are engage* in this «ase, including, Mr. Raymond, K. 0., and Mr. A. S. Adams, of Duncdin. Decision was ■' reserved in both cases. Another Shaw case comes on to-ijiorrow.
