CARDS.
A meeting of toe New Plymouth Card Association was held in the Fire. Brigade (Station last evening, Mr E. Whittle being in the chair. His Worship the Mayor (Mr J. JS. Wilson) wafs elected president for thcf ensuing term. It was resolved that only ione round be played, the entrance to which shoul-i be free.
Owing to the unsatisfactory state of last year's returns it was found impossible to decide als to which team the various trophies had won. This however, is to be remedied and in the course of a few woks the winner., wi'il be announced.
