Wanganui, Last Night, At a meeting of the Management Committee of the Wanganui ltugby Union, (held to-night, strong exception was: taken by delegates to the method of selection of the JNiortti Island team, and the following resolution was carried unanimously: "This Union draws the attention of t-he jvi.Z.-R.o. to the fact that tiie selectors of tihe North Island team have not carried wit their duties to the 'best advantage, having selected a team from only three provinces instead of from the whole of the North Inland, tints ignoring the claims of a number of qualified players."

TARANAKI "B' v. WAIROA. The Wairoa team arrived by the mail train last mg.it in readiness "for today's mateh. The team was met at the railway station by representatives of the Taranaki Rugby Union. During their stay in New Plymouth they will be domiciled at the Imperial Hotel. In all seventeen player* hare made the trip, under the management of Mr E. P. Symei, president of the Union. Prouse, who assisted Taranaki to annex the Itanfurly Shield, is a member of the team. Last night the majority of the team visited the Winter Show as guests of the committee. Several of the soutnern members of the Taranaki "B" team also arrived by the mail train.

The mateh will start punctually at 3 p.m., and will ibe preceded by a cur-tain-raiser between Star juniors and New -Plymouth. High School, which will start at 1.15 p.m.

The following will play for Inglewood against Tukapa at Inglewood on Saturday: G. Miles, C. Miles, H. Russell, Raynor, Smith, Raynor, Nicholson, Selireidcr. W. Russell,' L. Riussell, M. Macßae, P. Chapman, G. Karalus, J. Karalus, L. S. George.
