HOMING NOTES.
The New Ply-month Kast End Flying Club bave during the past week decided two races from Marton. In the first race six members scut '.)■> birds, which were liberated by the -lationmaster at 10 o'clock, the birds doing the distance (104 miles) in 2hr. dumin. Tho. following birds secured places:—W. Beal's Gladiolio, 2hr, -Klmin., 1: V. -Tames' Rival, 2hr. -lOniin. lOsec. 2; 11, J. Moverley's bird, 2hr. -flinin. Sllsec, ,1, Tho second race was for sccoml-lnVm-pcr birds. These birds were jumped from Eltliam. a distance of 76 miles, to allow the birds to be entered in the 100-mile young bird class at the Winter Show. The following birds secured places:—F. dames' Red Real, alir. oOmin., 1; li Hilling's White Crane, ohr. u.'unin., 2; H. J. itoverley's Carnival Queen, sbr. oSmin.. :>.
