SEAMEN'S COMPENSATION. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, June 9. The Seamen's Union has advised the shipping companies that the clauses inserted in the Seamen's Compensation Act operating from the 17th arc being made, to apply to crews trading outside the limits of the Commonwealth. This is the outcome of the recent case against the Union Company, in which the High Court ruled that the Act did not apply outside such limits.
