The state of health of Mr W. Perry, the well'-known Wairarapa sheep-breeder is causing his friends anxiety, Bays the Wairarapa Daily Times. The death occurred in Masterton at an early (hour on Sunday morning of Mr R. T. Holmes, an old resident of the district. Deceased had reached the ripe age of 82 years, Captain Cornwall, of the s.s. Tongariro, was in New Plymouth yesterday. The Rev. Frank Hales had so far recovered from his 1 serious illness as to be able to resume his duties at the Baptist Tabernacle on Sunday last. We understand thai Ihe hopes, and expects, to take his usual pulpit work henceforth.
