A woman from North Sydney went to Woywoy for the week-end and left her i two sons, aged eight And ten, in the - charge of their father. The mother re- ! turned and found the house ransacked. The wardrobes had -been forced, and I. nearly £2OO worth of jewellery and electro-plate were missing. The police were advised, and detectives instituted an enquiry. Two black masks and two revolvers were found under a bed, the circumstances pointing to an audacious robbery. The finger-prints on the window, however, proved to be those of a child. Questions followed, and the boys admitted their guilt, explaining that while their father was at work they held up the house and removed the valuables to a hiding place underneath the house, where the properly was found, to the delight of the owners and the embarrassment of the oHiciaU.
