Matapu then beat the Crusher team and secured first place, Pungarehu and Warea then pulled off ffor second place and one of the best pu'.la of the evening eventuated. The arrangements were in tills hasdk of the Cape Egmont Sports Club, ami campetitots and spectators appreciated: their completeness-, which wa» fa u large measure due to the organising capability of the secretary, Mr. W. F. Guild.
