A charge of having attempted to conceal the fact of the birlh of her child on -May 8. was preferred against a young single woman, .Mary Agnes Brown, in the Police Court to-day. Accused pleaded guilty and was rommittcd to the Supreme Court for sentence. NAPIER LTCENSINU COMMITTEE. Napier. Last Night. _At the annual meeting of the Napier Licensing Committee to-day, the chairman announced that the committee had decided that at the next annual meeting the licenses for (lie Clarendon and Criterion Hotels would not lie renewed unless the houses were re-built.
