A CHINESE HELD UP.
THREATENED BY FOUR MEN. ' Gow Wood, a Chinese gardener, of Randwick, was confronted by four men in Cleveland street, City, just before daylight tlie same morning, and compelled by threats to hand over what money he had in his possession. Wood was driving to market, and luid jii>t turned into Cleveland street from Randwick road, when a man caught hold of his his- horse's bridle. Three others appeared on the scene, and one of them ■roared at him to get down from h:|| cart and hand over his money. Tlu%. Chilli's. offered no' resistance. He put his hands in his pockets and pulled out KM. After this he was allowed to go. The; fo'ir men climbed on to a waggonette and drove off.
