Feokes. • Sliss Gray, of the Technical School teaching staff, is spending her holiday.-' i at her home in Palmerston. Sirs. Thomson, of Awakino, has been spending a few days in New Plymouth. Dr. Rex Brewster, who has been w-i ing locum for Dr. Bertram, of Rotorua. has returned to New Plymouth. Sliss Cross, of the New Plymouth Girls' High School, who has been on a visit to Christehurch, has returned to New Plymouth. The senior members of the Victoria League held a most enjoyable musical evening last 'Monday in Slay's Tea Rooms. Gaines interspersed the musical items, which resulted in Sirs. C. Weston winning the first prize, and Miss Crooke Second. Those who assisted in the entertaining programme were: Sfisses Hirst and Crooke, Archdeacon Evans, and Slessrs Hear<l, Johns and Sleade.
