GHIXAMAN FIRES TO SCAKK LARRIKINS. WITH FATAL RESULTS. By Telegraph—Press Associatroa. Invercargill, Thursday. A fatal shooting cane occurred here about midnight. Hector Morrison, aged 2s, was shot dead by a Chinaman, Loch Kin, aged <59, who keeps a board-ing-house in Leet street. The Chinese was aubject to frequent annoyance by larrikins, and had to send for police assistance last night. When the constable «rrired he found Morrison lying dead is «. pool of blood on the footpath. After the door had been battered and the windows broken accused went out with a gun anil fired to scare tht intruders, not seeing Morrison in -the darkness. Accused was before the Oourt charged with murder, and was reumadra.
