Nelson, Monte & Co. were awarded first and special prizes for blended leas, against all competitors, at the Auckland Inhibition; also first and special prizes for their collection of Ceylon, Indian, and China teas, and first prizes for their Neimoa coffee and Cocoa respectively. So far back as 1882, at the New Zealand International Exhibit ion.
