MONTHLY MEETING. The monthly meeting of tho Taranaki Grown I-mud Hoard was held at New Plymouth yesterday, when there were present: Messrs 0. 11. THIRDS. It was resolved to approve of the undermentioned local bodies' proposals for the expenditure iof thirds, subject to the approval of the ranger: —Wuiroa Road Board, £3B 3s tid: Motoroa Road Board, £1 13s lOd; Okato Road Board, £6 10s 3d; Ohura County Council, £545 Ids. M. Gcever, lessen of sections 7 and 8, block 5, Mahoe. wished his thirds spent on Arnold road. The Whangamomona County Council could not ugrce and submitted the question for the Board's decision. It was resolved that the thirds be spent on Arnold road to make a track to section 8, to a point considered si'fficient by the Council's engineer.

He expected I> be back on the section in a few weeks. —Explanation accepted, provided he takes up his residence within one month. Mrs. Gillbanks waited on the Board with reference to building, and explained that the timber was now on the ground.—She was granted two months' extension of time. O'Connor and Baxter, lessees of section 7, block 13, Waro, !)05 acres, stated that they were unaware t'i:it improvements had to be effected so soon.—They were given six months' extension- of time to bring tjie improvements up to date. j T.
