A FIREPROOF TRAIN. | Times and Sydney Sun Service#. Re<cived 27, 7.10 p.m. London, May 27. A fireproof train, almost entirely of steel, has been constructed by the NorthEastern Company for service between London and Edinburgh.
FOUGHT THROUGH FLAMES. Received 27, 11.45 p.m. London, May 27. By ft coaldust explosion at cement works at Barry, six men were entrapped in flames. Several, with clothes afire, jumped thirty feet. Others fought through the (lames and were badly burnt.
RUSSIANS OUTSIDE RUSSIA. Received 27, 11.45 p.m. Berne, May 27. A conference of Russian students and educationalists is discussing the establishment of a Rnssiitn university outside Russia, prohalily i)i Switzerland, for students who are unable to gain admittance to Russian universities.
