Marconi's wireless apparatus for tiring Stevenson and Moycs' acetylene fog gun on an isolated beacon has been satisfactorily tested. The control was switched oil from a coastguard station. A fortnight's supply of acetylene allows three brilliant flashes with loud reports per minute. The Clyde Lighthouse Trust k*s established a station at Oourock.
