THE OTIRA TUNNEL.
AN OFFER OF SETTLEMENT. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Tuesday. The Minister of Public Works has received information from the engineer in charge of the Otira tunnel that the men have agreed to resume work immediately on condition that they receive day wages until the end of the month, after which they will carry on the work under the small contract system,
