A "ROWDY" FINED.

FOR INTERRUPTING A MEETING. Bf Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last Night, At the Police Court, Arthur Richards was charged with disturbing Mr. Massey's meeting at tihe Town Hall on April 27. An usher stated that Richards, for about an hour, persistency interrupted speakers. Richards had to be forcibly ejected. Counsel stated that he was now in Gisborne, and was unable to attend the Court on account of the mauling he received. Defendant was fined 20b and costs.
