THE WINTER SHOW.
Although tlic entries for the winter Bhow do not close until Saturday next, 30th irist., the secretary and his staff have their time fully oceuniod taking the early entries which are coming in. Classes this year will All well, and the | competition will hp keen. Quite a number of children from schools outside New Plymouth are entering, so that the local children will have to use their best effort® if tihey wish to secure the awards. The fancy work classes, for which record entries were received last year, give promise of drawing far more exhibitors this year, and it, is understood that some of the exhibits wll come from as far as Pukckohc. Entries are being received for all classes from all parts of , the North Island —a, fact which speaks ' well for the popularity and future success of our big winter exhibition.
