NEWTON KING'S WEEKLY REPORT.

Oh Friday, 16th mst., at my Kaponga yards, I had a full yarding, all available pens and races being fully taxed. The entry was mostly comprised of store and forward cows and woaners, for all of which I hod a ready gale. Nice well grown colored weaner heifers and good steers were in best demand. Prices obtained were as follows:—-Weaner steers £2 3a, £2 Is, £1 17s, £1 lis, small ■ £1 2s dd to £1 fis, colored weaner heifers (nice lines) £2, £1 15s 6d, £1 15s, £1 14s, colored teifcrs, a bit smaller, £1 9b to £1 Us «d, fair gTade £1 4s to £1 6e Od, small 17s, mixed weaner 19s to £1 8s «d, weedy IGs to 15s, aged cows £1 7s 6d to £1 18s 6d, small store cows £2 6s to £2 Mb, store cows empty £3 6s to £3 lfle, boners £2 12s to £3 17s, forward and right fat cows £6, £5 19s, £6 l«s, £6 13s <td, £6 ss, £5 3s, £5, £4 17b fld, £4 15a, bulls £5 ss, rough Irae of empty 16 months heifers £2 Is, f.m. empty ewes 9s 6d and 10s. At Ureani yards on Monday, 18th. inst., owing to the very rough weather I had only a fair yarding of cattle, but all the advertised s9tcep came forward. The latter were all sold at the hammer under been competition. Prices for cattle were good. The dairy cows sold on account of Mr. M. O'Halloran realised from £5 15s to £8 7b 6d, and a few backward cows at from £4 5s to £4 15s.
