'Hie newspapers definitely announce that, subject to Parliamentary sanction, the Government will subscribe two millions in ordinary shares in the An-glo-Persian Oil Company, the latter contracting to supply fuel. The Government, besides ordinary shares, will take £200,000 worth of debentures in the company, which shortly receives its capital. Ma-. Churchill, in a motion to be moved on Monday, asks for authorisation of the purchases.
