SENTENCED FOfr FORGERY. ,".}• Telegraph—Press Association. Ohristchurch, Friday. At the Supreme Court, Christopher Robinson, on a charge of forgery, came up for sentence and was admitted to probation for 18 months.
CUSTOMS CASES. Christehureh, Last Night. The trial of James Edward Rundle, it;, n charges involving the theft of money .from Messrs Barlow Bros, in collection with Customs transactions, was continued before Mr. Justice Dennisfon to-day. The charges were that at Ohristchurch, on April 20, 1918, he dii! steal £37 10s, the property of Barlow Bros.; that on April 25, ,1912, he did stiil £59 17s, also the property of Barlow Bros.: (hat on December 0, 1912, he Hid steal 'the sum of £27 10s, the propi ty of Barlow Tims. The case was ui.'inished when the Court adjourned.
REFORMATORY FOR FORGER. Auckland, Last Night. At the Supremo Court to-day Herbert Walter Mcßea Bull appeared for sentence on three charges l of forgery, and was ordered to be detained for a period not exceeding twelve months for rformativc treatment.
