By Telegraph— Press Association. Dunedin, H'riday. Industrial conditions throughout the province tire bad. there being a marked dearth of demands for artisans and unskilled workers. It b estimated that ever 200 men are unemployed and about 100 workers only employed fitfully, ow ing to the wintry weather and the limit ed nature of the works on hand. X<> public works of any magnitude are go ing forward. The general verdijet is that unless public bodies or privat" individ nals show some enterprise a bitter winter is ahead for some artisans anil labor ers.
