Harding, of Auckland', who is studying agricultural methods here, iHiys the thing that struck liim most in Western Canada was the farmers' indifference concerning their homes. The barns were fine, handsome buildings, but the homes were plain, wooden structures. Mr. Harding found little to compare with New Zealand in Oanadun funning methods, owing to the long Canadian winter.
