REFEREES' ASSOCIATION. The adjourned annual meeting of the Northern Division of the Taranaki Referees' Association was held at Mr. A. Smart's office last night, when Mr. G. Griffiths presided over an attendance of nine. Ollicers were elected as follows:—Secretary, .Mr. B. Petty; executive, Messrs W. ltocii, T. Petty and the . secretary; examining committee, Messrs T. Petty and W. Roeh. Messrs C. Gollop and Campbell Jackson, both of Stratford, were admitted members of the Association, subject to pugging the usual examination. Membetg will meet weekly at the secretary's cßice." •it SOUTH TARANAKI RESULTS. SENIORS. At Ilawera, ..Okaiawa defeated Ha-j wera by S points to nil. Tries were scored by Ilaruru ajid Kingi, Ruru Sam converting one. At Opunake, Waimate defeated Opunako by three points (a try scored by Meuli) to nil. " j JUNIORS. ' " I Kaponga defeated: Hawera by 8 points to nil. Opunake forfeited to Okaiawa. SECOND JUNIORS. Kaponga defeated Okaiawa by fl points to 5; Hawera defaulted to Waiinate. THIS WEEK'S REFEREES.
