DOMINION DAIRY SHOW.
THE POULTRY SECTION. Last year the poultry exhibits at the Dominion Dairy Show, held at lfawera were a record, 110 less than 3G7 entries having been made. Not only was there a record entry, but the class of poultry exhibited) was of a very superior grade, and it may be said that New Plymouth and surroundings contributed in 110 small degree towards this satisfactory state of affairs. This year's show promises to be the equal if not better, than that of l!)l:!, and some very fine birds will be on exhibition. The special prizes for this section nre again large (5-2). including a lady's bracelet, for competition by the fair sex. The North Island Poultry, Pigeon and Canary Association has allocated ehampion,ships for Golden. Silver nnd White Wyandolies. the value to the winner in each class being £1 Is.
