Row in Parliament

MEMBERS COME TO BLOWS. A SCRIMMAGE OX THE FLOOR. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. \ Melbourne, May 14. An attempt to introduce a motion for an adjournment to discuss the tariff led to a scene in the Federal House. Anticipating an all-night, sitting, blankets were distributed on the Ministerial side. One was captured for a sleeping Oppositionist and a wild scrimmage for its re-eapture, lasting a considerable time, followed. Two members came to blows and weTe dragged apart. Others were dragged from their recumbent posi- ' tions on the seats or knocked over in the struggle. Order was eventually restored, the Deputy-Speaker shouting that he trusted honorable members would remember they were in Parliament.
