LARGE AND ItAPID INCREASE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, May 13. At the Manufacturers' Week lunchcon, (Mr. Flatten, president- of the Chamber of Manufacturers, pointed out that in 1912 the raw material used in Commonwealth factories was valued at nine millions more than in 1911, the amount paid tu wage-earners increased by £1,574,000, and the output increased by fifteen and a half million.
