COLLISION OF BIPLANES. POSTCARDS BY AIRSHIP. By Cable —Press Association—Copyright. London, May 12. Two Sopwith biplanes, flying at Aldershot on a perfect evening-, collided over the golf links, in view of hundreds of people. They plunged headlong, and were smashed to atoms. Captain Anderson and Private Carter and a mechanic were killed. Lieut. Wilson, pilot of the other aeroplane, had a wonderful escape, though seriously hurt. Sydney. May 13.
The Postal Department has granted Stone, the aviator, permission to carry a. special postcard mail between Melbourne and Sydney, calling at towns en route. He starts on a trial trip on the 23rd.
