LONDON MARKETS. By Cable—Press Association —Copyright, London, May 11. Wool. —A miscellaneous selection was offered at the wool sales, and prices generally were well maintained. On Tuesday, May 5, I held my usual four-weekly sale of above produce, the catalogue comprising 21 baleß and 77 sacks of wool, 2004 sheepskins, 27 casks, 1 drum and 20 tins tallow, 480 hides, and 60 calfskins, besides the usunl assortment of hair, tails, etc. There was a good attendance of buyers, competition being well maintained throughout the offering. Wool —At par with late rates. Sheepskins—Very firm at late rates. Hides —In sympathy with the decline at other centres, these showed a sharp drop. Ox declined y 2 d to Id, cow y 4 d to %d, and yearlings l%d to l%d per lb. Tallow—Firm at late rates.
