Wellington, La: „ Night. The Opunake railway .sod-turning is now definitely fixed for Thursday, 28th mat., the first date liavinrr i. oen " found to clash with the cadet inspection by, ,(.eneral Hamilton at New Plymouth. The Hon. Mr. Eraser, Minister of Pub■lie Works, will officiate.
The Right Hon. Mr. Massev will not be present, owing to prior engagements m the South Island.
