"('1 7) To borrow and raise moneys and to secure the payment of ' money from time to time owing by the Company in such manner as the Company may deem expedient, and in particular by hypothecating, charging or mortgaging the Company's property (both present and future), including its uncalled capital (if any) or by issuing debentures or debenture stock charged and secured thereon or by way of overdraft from a Bank or by Bonds, Bills of Exchange, Promissory Notes, or by mortgage or charge of or upon all or any of such property and to. purchase, redeem and pay off such securities, ''(d 8) To sell, lease, exchange, grant licenses, in respect of or otherwise dispose of the undertaking and business of the Company or any part thereof for su»h consideration and upon such terms as tbe Company may think fit and in particular for shares wholly or partly paid up, .stocks, bonds, obligations, debentures, debenture stock, scrip, or securities of any person, firm or company (whether co-operative or otherwise), and whether such person, firm, or company has objects altogether or in part similar to those of this Company or otherwise. THAT Clause (c) of the Memorandum of Association be altered by adding the words "Maintenance, alteration and reconstruction" after the word '-construction" where the same occurs in the first line of the clause. THAT Clause (e) of the Memorandum of Association be altered by adding the words "or any of them or as the Company' may think necessary, incidental or conducive to the attainment cf the above objects or any of them" to the end of the clause.
