P>y Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Last Night. A well-organised demonstration in favor of the liiliic-iu-Schools took place in the Town 11a 11 to-night. About 35.00 people participated. Addresses were delivered by prominent clergymen, including Bishop Avcrill, and proceeding's were enthusiastic. It was decided to sent! to the Premier an expression of the desire of the meeting that an opportunity be given for a referendum on the [question of teaching the Bible in the schools.
