ENTERTAINMENTS.

THEATRE ROYAL PICTURES. Anew picture programme opened at th:' Theatre Royal last night, and, considering the inclemency of the weather, a very fair attendance resulted. The star film is a very exciting drama by the Vitagraph Co., entited ' "The Fruits of Vengeance," and moat of the scenes surround a circus, where the play is acted. Some clever tight-rope walking is seen, and the saving of a child from the tightrope walker's back is a breath-holder. The Topical Budget contains some interesting items, and another film shows the scenes of the late Hutt tragedy. The "Temples of Kaiuak' makes a fine scenic, and with other films consisting of comedies and dramas, a ve.ry good programme is seen. The same collection will be screened to-night. Reserves at Colliers.
