ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
• _ SUICIDE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Invercargill, Last Night. On Monday evening the body of a man named William Adie, a well-known resident of Otautau, was found beside a haystack, with a gun alongside and a wound in his head. Adie was last seen alive on Thursday, when ihe was ploughing. No notice of his absence was taken, but late lost night the body was discovered. A letter found in his house clearly "showed the intention of suiciide.
