SHACK LETON GETS PRACTICE IX NORWAY. SAILING DATE FIXED. Bv Cable—Press Association—Copyright Received 6, 10.30 p.m. London, May 5. Sir Ernest Shackleton and five members of 'his expedition are going to the Norway glaciers, where blizzards similar to those of the Antarctic arc common. They will test their motor-sledges, wear their polar kits, and exist on sledging rations.
The vessel Endurance arrives in London this month. She is a beautiful specimen of wooden shipbuilding. The Aurora will be delivered at llobart at the end of August, and sail tor the Antarctic in November. Most of the expedition sail by tho Endurance in August.
