The committee on faith cures, appointed by the conference of clergy and doctors, affirm the efficacy of prayer and spiritual ministrations in' aiding recovery in functional, as distinct from organic ailments. They deprecate the postponement of medical treatment, and recommend the co-operation of the doctor and clergyman.
