NO APPOINTMENTS YET. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Nigfot. Hie term of office in the Legislative Council of the Hon. R. A. Louglman expired to-day. That of the Hons. ,i. Rigg and J. E. Jcnkinson expires on July 1 next. Question by a reporter today on the subject of filling the several vacancies which have occurred on the Council since the beginning of the year, the Prime Minister said that no announcement would be made until Parliament met. It was probable that the new appointments would be announced in the Governor's >Speech.
