YOUNG MAN'S SUICIDE
BY TAKING POISON. , . A A young man named Spencer Griffiths, " well-known in New Plymouth, employed in his brother's (Mr. G. Griffiths') tailoring business, committed suicide yester- , day by taking poißon. His failure to return to the shop yesterday jjflirnoon from lunch, coupled with thfi- / jjSring of a note saying "good-bye," led to%sea.roh being made, and his body was found oil the foreshore near the municipal baths ' late in the afternoon.
