ENTERTAINMENTS.

HOW TO DANCE THK TAKGO. To-night's programme will introduce ' an innovation from the moving picture world, being the occasion of the first screening of that wonderful film, "How . to Dance the Tango," illustrated by ' America's first and admittedly bert Argentine tangoists. This picture brings before us the genuine tango, with all the charm that has caused it to bo quite a sensation all over the world. It has captured Australia, and is now spreading through New Zealand. There has been a lot of talk about this dance, and the opportunity now arises for the New Plymouth public to see the real thing and judge for themselves aa to its merit and fascination. The picture is close on 3000 feet long, and all the principal steps are shown and explained. In some cases, to give a clearer idea, only the feet are shown on the screen their movements, so as to be more easw ily traced. The programme has many" other first-class subjects supporting ithe big film, including some fin&iViews of Washington, an educationat^pture'featuring '•the Life of a Waspr and some excellent dramas and! laughable comedies. As an evening's entertainment this programme will be hard to beat, and patrons are advised to book their seats early. Prices continue the same, la and <kl, and seats can be reserved at Colliers.
