Matthews, Gamlin and Co. report:— We held our usual weekly sale in our Inglcwood yards on Wednesday last, and had a good .yarding of stock, most of which were sold at the hammer at the following prices:—Fat and forward cows, £4 3s to £7 17s fld% Store cows, £2 10s to £4 8s; springing cows, £3 7s fid to £0 13s; cows and calves, £3 2s fid to £3 .18s; 18-month steers, £3 18s fid to £4 2s fid;' 15-month stecra, £2 10s; in calf heifers. £3 8s 'to £4 9s; empty heifers, £2 2s to £2 12s fid; weaner steers, 32s to 40s; wenner heifers, 14s to 30s; bulls, £3 (is to £4 7s; f.m. in lamb ewes, 12s to 12s 6d.
On Monday last we held a clearing sale at Mr. O. Boldt's farm, all the stock bringing satisfactory prices. We quote: Dairy cows, from £5 to £S ss; old and late calvers, £3 Is Od to £4 10s mixed weaners, 3Ss Od; trap horse, £23 103.
