FIRES.
A KILBIRNIE ISLAZK. By Te'egraph —Press Association. Wellington, Friday. At 5 o'clock this morning a fire broke out in an unoccupied house of fourteen rooms at Kilbirnie, belonging to James Clark. It wa,s suppressed after considerable damage, had been done to the inside. The outbreak occurred under the stairs in the centre of the house. The building, which kid been used as a private hospital up to five months ago, is insured in the Sun office for £IOOO.
