" -1 i ' """ 1,1, MEET AT BELL BLOCK. ■ The second meet this season' if the North Taranaki Hunt, Club, which took place 011 ill'. J. S. Connett's property at liell Block yesterday, resulted, in a splendid day's sport. Kilns v«cre' plentiful. One of some four miles was. one of the best in the recollection of members. The meet attracted some fifty spectators, who found plenty to interest them. Amongst the huntsmen were Messrs A. H. Halcombe (master), B. 11. Chaney (deputy master), Cole, Foreman, Sampson, Pepperell, Stockman, Russell, Rhodes, Mason (Stratfordf anil Master Valintine.
At the conclusion of the meet, the visitors were hospitably entertained by Mr. and Mrs. Connctt. Mr. Halcombe, in returning thanks 011 behalf of the members, referred to' Mr. kindness in allowing the Hunt to use his property, and to his carij and attention in sparring and flagging all thp fences. Mr. Connctt suitably responded.
