SUGGESTIONS REGARDING CONTROL. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright London, April 29. Sir George Roid presided at tiio meeting of the Society of Arts at which a paper was read by Mr. Charles Bright on the administration of the Imperial telegraphs. Mr. Bright advocates the management of the inter-Imperial telegraphs by a permanent central authority free of political control, composed of representatives of the Admiralty, War Office and oversea Governments.
