Owing to the exceptionally iiile season, and the highly remunerative rates rilling for all descriptions of pro- j duce, the Dominion's prosperity was beyond question, and with the ever-ex-panding oversea trade and the opening ff new markets, the outlook was one of I- great promise. Those connected with if leading institutions had viewed with apl- pi eiiension the high land values, but the actual results achieved by fanning such lands by the adoption of scientific methods appeared to warrant the esUblisliC nient of the values.
