Enquiries at the Customs Department for figures relating to the quantity and value oi imports to New Zealand during the post juarter disclosed-the fact that owing to new methods of compiling Statistics having been introduced by J. direction of the Commissioners, much dej lay will be experienced in getting details l published. It is not expected that the 'January figures will be available until | the,end of May.
